According To the National Day Calendar, Sweetest Day is Not necessary a romantic holiday. The point of the day is to show friends, family and even strangers that you care by gifting them a note, a small treat or any other act of kindness.

This year, Sweetest day falls on October 17. If you are not in the midwest, you probably don't know what the hell I'm talking about. But I think everyone needs to celebrate the holiday.

Sweetest Day is Celebrated in the Midwestern united states, and parts of the Northeastern united states. The first Sweetest Day was on October 10, 1921, in Cleveland. Cleveland, states that the first sweetest day was planned by a committee of 12 confectioners chaired by candy maker C.C. Hartzell. 

National Sweetest Day is Observed on the third Saturday in October. Though its sentiment may see em identical to valentine's day, sweetest day was intended to be more about giving back than about date nights and red roses.

Sweetest Day Different Name: 

Sweetest Day Had a different name is Candy Day. Newspapers and advertisements began referring to candy as the "Sweetest Day Of the year," according to National day.

What is Sweetest Day ???

To put it simply, sweetest day ever October 17, is a day to be sweet by Sharing a kind thought, it's a day to give a card with a sweet message to someone you appreciate.
